Paul Romine drove his 'Man O War' Nitro Funny Car to the win at the 3rd Annual Muscle Car Reunion & Nostalgia Drags, at Kansas City International Raceway. Romine had a solo in the final round as the Stanke Motorsports "Twin Town Shaker" Plymouth Arrow piloted by Mark Worden could not answer the bell. Romine, Indianapolis, Ind., went on to post a 5.876 second lap at 247.25 mph.

In the finals of Nostalgia Super Stock it was Randy Spurgeon, Owensville, Mo., taking the holeshot lead with a .011 second reaction time in his Mike Riefer-owned 'Ramchargers' '63 Dodge 300 and held on to win over Kenny Gresham, Granite City, Ill., and his '62 Chevy by seven-hundredths of a second over Gresham. 

Twelve classes in all were contested with Romaine leading the group into winner’s circle along with local racer Todd Scherer of Kansas City, Mo., who won the Nostalgia Comp class.  Scherer and Spurgeon were not the only Missouri racer to take home trophies as “Dyno Dan” Huellewing, St. Paul, Mo., won in Pro Nostalgia; David McGee, Gladstone, Mo., took the win in muscle Car Eliminator; and Jeremy Haldman, Jamestown, Mo., won in the Russellville Eliminators.
