Kin Bates (A/Fuel), Bud Hammer (Jr. Fuel), and Jirka Kaplan (AA/Gas) led the list of winners at the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series event April 3-5 at Auto Club Dragway at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

Bates, the winner of the season opener in Bakersfield, Calif., claimed his second win after Nick Norton broke in the final. Kaplan drove his supercharged Corvette to a 6.39 in his final-round win against Sean Renteria, and Hammer downed former jet-car driver J.D. Zink to claim his title.

Other event champions were Mike Cross (7.0 Pro), Mike Ford (A/Gas), Jim Teague (B/Gas), Scott Morgan (C/Gas), Mike Williams (D/Gas), Bobby Cottrell (Nostalgia I), Jason Francen (Nostalgia II), Tim Beeman (Nostalgia III), and William Teague (Hot Rod).
